Syrian President Bashar Assad said Monday that "the current Israeli government is torpedoing peace efforts."
Assad, speaking during a Damascus meeting with Czech diplomats, said that "we must set an outline for peace negotiations to be based on, according to international decision," adding that that was Syria's goal in the Turkish-brokered peace talks. (Roee Nahmias)
