Failure to comply with Emmanuel school ruling 'contempt of court'
None
The High Court criticized the fact that its ruling had not been implemented regarding a "pirate" school for girls in the West Bank settlement of Emmanuel. Justice Edmond Levy said, "The message is simple. Every teacher or parent who fails to comply with the ruling, or obstructed the implementation, will be seen as being in contempt of court."
Justices Hanan Meltzer and Edna Arbel even instructed the prosecutor to supply them with a complete list of all students who are either in the "temporary" school or absent from the existing school, as well as a list of the teachers working there. (Aviad Glickman)
