Police urge Arab leadership to maintain calm

The Northern District Police are on high alert, as Israeli Arabs have been urged to travel to the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem Tuesday. In addition to the forces on the ground, the district command is holding talks with the Arab leadership in the area, to try to maintain the peace.
A police spokesperson said buses traveling to Jerusalem were being inspected, and would be turned back if plans to take part in riots were revealed. (Sharon Roffe – Ofir)
