PA security establishment on high alert to 'maintain order'

The Palestinian Authority's security establishment declared high alert following the recent escalation and rioting around Jerusalem.

The Palestinian police in the West Bank deployed forces throughout the streets of West Bank villages and cities, in fear that the protest will spread into the Authority. A Palestinian security source told Ynet that "security forces are in near emergency standby, to maintain the order." (Ali Waked)
