Appeal filed against light sentence for officer who beat Palestinians

The Military Prosecution has filed an appeal against a court's decision not to sentence Lieutenant Adam Malul to additional jail time. Malul was convicted of beating Palestinians.
The prosecution also demanded that the officer be demoted to the rank of private. (Hanan Greenberg)
