The Knesset plenum on Wednesday voted into force an ordinance initiated by MK Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism), which sets tax rates on non-kosher meat that are already forbidden from being imported to Israel
Twenty five MKs were in favor of the ordinance, which includes meats from horses, donkeys, whales, dolphins, seals, and walruses, while 16 opposed. (Amnon Meranda)
