UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon issued a condemnation to the Gaza Qassam firing Thursday which killed a foreign worker. He stressed that all terrorist acts against civilians were wholly unacceptable and in violation of international law.
The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office also condemned the rocket attack. Minister of State Ivan Lewis said that terrorist attacks against Israel must be condemned by anyone committed to peace and stability in the Middle East. (Roni Sofer and Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
