Knesset to take part in Earth Day, lights off for 1 hr

Knesset Director-General Dan Landau guided Knesset compound employees in participating in international Earth Day events, to be held at the end of April.
On that day, all lights in the compound will be switched off at 8 pm for one hour, to raise awareness about environmental issues. In a letter he sent to all employees, Landau emphasized the importance of turning off lights and air-conditioning at the end of every day. (Amnon Meranda)
