PA lauds Quartet condemnation of Israel
Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat lauded the Mid-East Quartet's statement calling Israel to halt all construction in the West Bank. Erekat also praised the quartet's condemnation of Israel's plan to build new housing units in east Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, which was announced during US Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Israel.
