Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov slammed the multi-annual aid plan for the non-Jewish sector to be debated in the cabinet on Sunday. "The state of non-Jewish authorities warrants comprehensive treatment and allocation of funds, but the plan in its current outline perpetuates lack of loyalty to the State," the minister said.
"Government aid for minorities must not be granted to communities and populations whose public leaders' loyalty lies with the enemies of the State of Israel. This program is distorted and "awards" disloyalty," he added. (Roni Sofer)
