UN chief to meet IDF intelligence chief

Military Intelligence Chief Major-General Amos Yadlin will meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Saturday in Jerusalem and will provide him with an intelligence survey on Iran's smuggling routes and support for terror groups, as well as the situation in south Lebanon and the Iranian nuclear program.

The UN chief will also meet with the IDF's Planning Branch commander Major-General Amir Eshel during a dinner with President Shimon Peres and will be briefed on various issues, including the status of IDF inquiries into Operation Cast Lead. (Roni Sofer)
