UN chief urges halt of Gaza rocket firing

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Satruday during a press conference with President Shimon Peres in Jerusalem that he is bearing a message from the Quartet according to which negotiations on a two-state solution is the only way Israel and the Palestinians will achieve their goals.
The UN chief also called on Palestinian "extremists" to halt the firing of rockets into Israel. (Ronen Medzini)
