Police: Suspected explosive found on plane in India

A suspected explosive found on a passenger plane sparked a bomb scare and grounded the aircraft in southern India, police said on Sunday.

A bomb disposal squad was inspecting the package found in a bag inside the cargo hold of the aircraft after all passengers had disembarked, Ajith Kumar, the city's police commissioner, told Reuters by phone. (Reuters)
