Defense Minister Ehud Barak said at the end of his meeting with Envoy of the Quartet on the Middle East Tony Blair, "We are at the beginning of the week, and I hope this will bring us to get on the track of peace negotiations with the Palestinians."
"I hope that through our actions we supported Israel finally getting back on the track of serious and intensive negotiations with the Palestinians," added Barak, who will also meet with US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday. (Roni Sofer)
