MK El-Sana calls death of pitchfork-carrying youth: Cold-blooded murder

MK Taleb El-Sana (United Arab List-Ta'al) accused IDF soldiers of cold-blooded murder in the case of the two young Palestinians who were killed at the Awarta Checkpoint. According to El-Sana, the version of events provided by the soldier asserting their lives were in danger is groundless.
MK El-Sana claimed that the soldiers could have neutralized the threat without killing the two. He called upon the chief of staff to investigate the incidents thoroughly. "An end must be put to the phenomenon of automatic and pre-prepared versions of events and the culture of lies and cover-ups within the military must be battled," he said. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
