Finance Ministry says Steinitz endorses Barzilai ER relocation

Sources at the Finance Ministry said Sunday that Minister Yuval Steinitz is endorsing the decision to relocate the Barzilai Medical Center's emergency room. Steinitz did not vote on the matter during the cabinet meeting due to a prior engagement.
The sources further noted that the finance minister reached an agreement with Deputy Health Minister Yakov Litzman according to which the Health Ministry will fund the relocation procedure for 2010. Further discussions on the construction's funding sources will be held over the next two years. (Roni Sofer)
