Culture minister instructs Antiquities Authority to check Barzilai tombs

Culture and Sports Minister Limor Livnat has instructed Shuka Dorfman, Israel Antiquities Director, to meet with the head of a haredi organization working for the protection and conservation of Jewish tombs in order to examine the ancient tombs forcing the relocation of the emergency room at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon.
"The decision to relocate the emergency room is wrong and unjustified," Livnat said. (Roni Sofer)
