Livni meets US national security advisor in White House
Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni met with US National Security Advisor Jim Jones in the White House on Monday.
After the meeting Livni said that she got the impression that the US "understands the threats facing Israel and the risks entailed in a political settlement and will act accordingly in order to guarantee its security." She called on the US administration to aggravate sanctions against Iran. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
