Health officials urge quitting director-general to stay on

Israel Medical Association chairman Dr. Leonid Eidelman and Professor Yaakov Hart, chairman of the hospital directors' union, have called on Health Ministry Director-General Dr. Eitan Hai-Am to reverse his decision to resign.
The senior health officials also urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to appoint Hai-Am to the committee tasked with examining the relocation of the new emergency room at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon. (Meital Yasur Beit-Or)
