PM explains to Clinton about housing approval bureaucracy

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington. The two discussed the construction in east Jerusalem and tried to characterize the problems delaying the peace talks with the Palestinians.
During the meeting, Netanyahu presented a chart outlining the bureaucratic procedures involved in granting a building permit for any home in Israel, including in Jerusalem. He explained that there was no guarantee that incidents like the one which took place during US Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Israel would not take place in the future.
