A police official says a helicopter operated by a Turkish reconstruction team has made a "hard landing" in central Afghanistan, injuring three people.
Mirzak Khan says the helicopter experienced technical problems as it tried to land Tuesday at a base in Maidan Shahr, the capital of Wardak province. It hit a hill as it was coming down and rolled over. Khan, the deputy chief of police in Wardak, says three of the helicopter's four occupants were hurt, including the pilot. (AP)
