Israeli Embassy in London: Regrets British decision over passports

In response to Britain's decision to ask Israel's diplomatic representation in London to leave the country, the Israeli Embassy said in a statement that relations between Israel and Britain are important and that they regret the British parliament's decision.
British Foreign Minister David Milliband announced the decision in a speech before parliament following an investigation of the use of falsified British passports in the assassination of senior Hamas member Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. Israel is widely believed to be responsible for the assassination and the passport fraud. (Hagit Klaiman, London)
