British official says trust with Israel rattled over passport affair

A spokesman on behalf of the British Foreign Office commented on the "passports crisis" between Israel and the UK and claimed that the trust between the sides had been rattled.
Speaking with the London-based Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper, the spokesman stressed that his country did not use the word "expulsion" in respect to the Israeli diplomat who was asked to leave the Israeli Embassy in London. (Roee Nahmias)
