Aviva Shalit: Leave spare chair at seder table for Gilad

Aviva Shalit, mother of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, turned to the public with a special request during a visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. "Leave a chair empty for Gilad around your Passover table," she asked.
"The feelings are very difficult. It is the fourth Passover that Gilad is not with us and is still in captivity," she said during a prayer ceremony held at the Western Wall by an organization of mothers for the release of Aviva's son. (Ronen Medzini)
