Israel rejects UN decision on Cast Lead compensation

Israel has rejected the UN Human Rights Council' decision on Israeli compensation to Palestinians over damages caused by the IDF during operation Cast Lead.
"The Human Rights Council's decision taken in Geneva has nothing to do with safeguarding human rights," the Foreign Ministry said, pointing that no similar decision called for the Palestinians to pay compensation to Israelis. (Roni Sofer)
