120 protesters clash with soldiers near Ramallah

Some 120 Palestinians, left-wing Israelis and foreign activists are clashing with security forces next to two villages west of Ramallah. Some of the demonstrators are throwing stones at the security forces, which are firing tear gas in response.
Some 50 people are demonstrating near Na'alin. Some 70 are demonstrating in Bilin against the uprooting of olive trees because of the security fence's new route. One of the protesters in Bilin has been detained. The IDF reported that the uprooting was carried out in coordination with the land owners. (Shmulik Grossman)
