Uri Avnery attends Qalqilya rally

Speaking at a rally held in the West Bank town of Qalqilya, Israeli left-wing activist Uri Avnery said Israel's policy led the Palestinians to mark "Land Day".
"Land Day" refers to Arab-Israeli protests in 1976, which erupted in response to the Israeli government's announcement of a plan to expropriate thousands of dunams of land for "security and settlement purposes." (Ali Waked)
