Major Eliraz Peretz's funeral underway

The coffin of Major Eliraz Peretz, who was killed Friday in a clash with terrorists in Gaza, has arrived at the Darchei Noam synagogue in Givat Ze'ev, named after his brother Uriel Peretz, who was killed in Lebanon in 1998.
Dozens of residents and fellow soldiers from Peretz' company are surrounding the coffin. The convoy is now leaving Givat Ze'ev headed to Har HaMenuchot in Jerusalem. (Shmulik Grossman)
