Givat Ze'ev council petitions against Route 443 checkpoint

The Givat Ze'ev Council filed a petition with the High Court of Justice Sunday in a motion to instruct the government not to set up a security roadblock near the Ofer IDF base and temporarily suspend construction until comprehensive security settlements in Route 443 are finalized, in cooperation with the council.
The petition noted that following the Supreme Court's decision to allow Palestinian traffic in the road the IDF has began setting up security checkpoints which are not efficient. The council further claimed that the Central Command chief has ignored a previous complaint on the issue. (Aviad Glickman)
