Arab League calls on Obama to stick to his guns on settlements

Leaders of the Arab League said that the construction in east Jerusalem must cease if negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians were to continue. A statement concluding the league's summit called on US President Barack Obama "to stick to his original stance" on settlements and condemn them. (AFP)
