Barak: Freedom only given to those willing to defend it

Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke with soldiers of Golani Brigade's Battalion 12 of the Gaza division and said, "The IDF exists and acts in order to defend the borders of our country, and set the price for those who wish to plot against it. It is a high price to pay; freedom is only given to those willing to defend it."
"I want to thank you on behalf of the citizens and tell you that your battalion, in this division, has attained extraordinary achievements in operational activity as well as in other places," said Barak. (Hanan Greenberg)
