UN confirms massacre of 290 in Congo

The UN confirmed Tuesday that 290 people had been massacred in the Congo by the Ugandan Lord's Resistance Army. Last week the international Human Rights Watch organization published a report claiming that the massacre had taken place and that 321 people had been killed. (AFP)
