Rightists arrive in Birzeit to 'build Jewish community'
Some 60 right-wing activists arrived Wednesday morning at a neighborhood near the West Bank town of Birzeit and announced their plan to build a Jewish community in the area and call it "Beer Zeit".
They said the plan was in response to the Palestinian Authority's plan to build a city in the area, which according to the settlers, would "weaken the Jews' holding of the Binyamin region". (Shmulik Grossman)
