French report: Total veil ban could be unconstitutional
France's State Council has advised the government that any total ban on face-covering Islamic veils could be unconstitutional, the BBC reported Wednesday.
The top administrative body said, however, that a ban could be justified in some public places. The council discussed the matter at the request of French Prime Minster Francois Fillon. (Ynet)
