Walid Jumblatt: Assad committed to Lebanon's stability and security
Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt praised the positioning of Syrian President Bashar Assad towards Lebanon and "his commitment to its security and stability," according to official Syrian news agency, SANA.
According to the report, Jumblatt praised Assad's efforts to tighten ties and cooperation between the countries. In addition, during their talk, the two addressed "the important role of 'the resistance' against the Israeli-led plans to hurt the entire Arab region." (Roee Nahmias)
