Peres: Israel wouldn't be the same without kibbutz movement

President Shimon Peres opened celebrations marking 100 years to the Kibbutz movement Wednesday in a special event held in Kibbutz Degania A.
"In my heart I know: The State of Israel wouldn't be what it is today without the working settlement enterprise, the contribution of balance and the boldness that the movement provided our security status and social stability," Peres said. (Ronen Medzini)
