World powers agree to start work on Iran sanctions

Six world powers, including Russia and China, agreed on Wednesday to start drawing up new sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program, a source with knowledge of the talks said.

The source said representatives of Britain, the United States, France and Germany had reached agreement with Beijing and Moscow during a conference call and work would start on preparing a United Nations Security Council resolution in the next few days. (Reuters)
