Ashkenazi 'spy' gets 5-year prison sentence

Tirah resident Rawi Sultani, 23, who was indicted for allegedly being recruited by Hezbollah to collect details on Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, was convicted in a plea bargain and sentenced to five years and eight months in prison.
As part of the plea bargain, Sultani was convicted for offences of contacting a foreign agent and providing information to a terrorist organization. Sultani admitted the charges and expressed regret. (Vered Luvitch)
