UN secretary-general praises new US nuclear policy

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon welcomed the new nuclear policy recently announced by the US. He praised President Barack Obama and said that the initiative enabled the continuation of the positive progress recently achieved on this issue.
German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle also supported the move, calling it a "brave step towards disarmament." (AFP)
