Thailand: 'Red shirts' force way into parliament grounds

"Red shirt" protesters broke through security forces and entered the grounds of Thailand's parliament on Wednesday as they stepped up pressure on the government to call elections, a Reuters reporter said.
The protesters pushed through a thin line of riot police, who retreated. The demonstrators did not immediately try to get inside parliament. Ministers had met there earlier but then left the building, the reporter said. (Reuters)
