Kosovo war crimes suspect arrested in Sweden

A man in his early 30s was arrested on suspicion of war crimes committed in Kosovo more than a decade ago, Swedish police Wednesday. The suspect, a Serb from Kosovo, was arrested without incident in western Sweden on Tuesday, Det. Supt. Tomas Ackheim said.
The man is one of 26 suspects wanted in connection with the killing of 41 civilians in Cuska and dozens more in the surrounding villages during NATO bombing in 1999. His full identity was not released because of Swedish privacy rules. Deputy Serbian war crimes prosecutor Bruno Vekaric said the arrest was made on a Serbian warrant. (AP)
