Attorney Eli Zohar representing former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert filed a motion with the Jerusalem District Court Thursday to halt hearings on his client's case until the Holyland affair investigation concludes.
During a debate on the matter, Jerusalem District attorney Eli Abarbanel explained the reasons for a motion to reverse the order of hearings in the various Olmert affairs and the connection of the Holyland Affair to the trial. District Court President Moussia Arad said in response, "Does this imply that both parties wish to stop the trial, each for his own reasons?" (Aviad Glickman)
