Poland urges Russia to reveal all on WWII massacre

Poland's parliament has urged Russia to make public all documents concerning the 1940 massacre of thousands of Polish officers by Soviet secret police in Katyn and elsewhere.

Lawmakers approved a declaration Friday marking the 70th anniversary of the killing of 22,000 Polish prisoners of war - a tragedy that Soviet officials long blamed on Nazi occupiers and that has remained an irritant in Polish-Russian ties. (AP)
