An Israeli hiker in her 20s was killed after falling into the abyss during a bicycle tour on the Road of Death in Bolivia, Ynet learned on Friday.
Ella Dan, 27, of Even Yehuda, drew away from the group she was travelling with is believed to have slipped due to the fog. Her family has been informed of her death.
Dan's boyfriend, who traveled with her to Bolivia, did not join the bicycle tour, which was accompanied by a guide.

The Foreign Ministry said the Israeli Embassy in Bolivia received the news of Dan's death on Thursday and was preparing to fly her body to Israel .
The Road of Death, officially known as North Yungas Road, has claimed many victims throughout the years. The 65-kilometre road leads from the capital of La Paz to the town of Coroico, northeast of La Paz in the Yungas region of Bolivia.
It is considered one of the 10 most dangerous roads in the world. In the past few years Bolivia has been working to improve the road's conditions and safety, but accidents still occur on it from time to time.
