Gunmen kill 7 at memorial service in Egypt's south
Egyptian police say a group of armed men have opened fire at a memorial service in southern Egypt, killing seven and injuring four others.
Gen. Mohammed Badr says the men targeted a memorial service marking the anniversary of the death of a local man in the town of al-Hojairat in Qena province, about 290 miles (465 kilometers) south of Cairo. They opened fire on the group and fled. (AP)
