Obama marks Holocaust Day: We must not tolerate hate
US President Barack Obama released a statement marking Holocaust Remembrance Day, in which he said that the memory of the victims will be a constant reminder to respect their heritage by renewing our commitment to preventing genocide and to fight anti-Semitism and prejudice of all kinds.
He continued by saying that we must not be tolerant towards stereotypes of hate and prejudice against the Jewish nation, which tragically continue today. We must work towards a world of justice, he asserted, in which all the nations and people will value the humanity that we share. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
