Obama: Al-Qaeda would use nuke if it could
President Barack Obama says that if al-Qaeda acquired a nuclear weapon it would not hesitate to use it. The president says the threat of nuclear weapons falling into terrorist hands is the single biggest threat to US security.
He says his gathering of more than 40 leaders in Washington this week is aimed at securing "loose nukes." The president spoke Sunday before meeting South African President Jacob Zuma. The Nuclear Security Summit begins tomorrow in the US capital. (AP)
