Deputy FM: Jewish nation in its homeland by moral, historic right
Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon spoke during a Holocaust memorial ceremony at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem and said, "The Jewish people are in their homeland based on their moral and historic right, not on charity."
The Jewish nation has "a state to protect it and make sure the horrors of the Holocaust do not repeat. It has a force to defend it and make sure that anti-Semitism, which is rearing its head, will not harm any Jewish community in the world," Ayalon said. (Roni Sofer)
