Bangladesh sentences 50 guards over 2009 mutiny
A special court in Bangladesh has sentenced 50 border guards to jail terms ranging from four months to seven years for involvement in a deadly mutiny last year.
Judge Maj. Gen. Mainul Islam announced the sentences Monday in a packed courtroom in the northern district of Thakurgaon. (AP)
