Barak: We won't hesitate acting against those seeking our demise

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Monday at a Holocaust Remembrance Day closing ceremony that the rise in racism was a result of an appeasing atmosphere towards Holocaust deniers led by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. "We shall not hesitate to act against those who threaten the Jewish people," Barak said.

Referring to political issues he noted, "We are committed to turning every stone for a regional peace deal according to the Road Map, which will include clear borders and primarily close cooperation with our friend - the US." (Shmulik Hadad)
